Organisational structure
The preference consortium MSCA doctoral network is organised into 6 work packages:
WP 1: Innovative LAFOV PET/CT methodologies. This work package includes 8 methodological individual research project.
WP 2: New LAFOV PET/CT clinical research. Within this WP 7 clinically oriented research project will be carried out.
WP 3: Individual training activities. This WP will oversee the individual training program and progress of the doctoral candidates/PhD students.
WP 4: Network-wide training activities. The network-wide training and educational activities will be organised and coordinated by this WP>
WP 5: Dissemination, exploitation and communications. WP 5 will provide the DCs with scientific, professional and inter-sectorial knowledge, competences and skills to complement the local/individual training and individual research projects as well as to train them as independent entrepreneurial and highly skilled professionals.
WP 6: Project management. Overall coordination and management of the doctoral network. Including, coordination of the recruitment of DCs. Coordinating, managing and reporting progress of the project and management of ethics issues.
For the overall coordination and management of the project a supervisory board is put in place. The SB consists of representatives of all beneficiaries as well as 2 fellows by rotation. The SB is the main decision making body and responsible for the overall monitoring of progress, proposing and approving any amendments, resolve any issues or conflicts of interest within the network etc.
In addition, several board and committees are installed to address specific topics. In addition, the external scientific advisory board, consisting of 4 key opinion leaders, will provide scientific advice during the project and will provide specific scientific recommendations for each of the individual research project.
